Programs Based at PS 130:

University Settlement:

After school program offers a range of enriching experiences, offered free of cost to families. From arts to literacy, from STEM to Social Emotional Learning, University Settlement builds a platform where children can be their best, both in and out of school.
Accepting students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Onsite at PS 130 Lower School (K-2) and Upper School (3-5). Program start date to be determined at a later date with more guidance from the DYCD/DOE.
Enrollment starting Monday, Aug 23rd with the hope of contacting parents with acceptances starting September 3rd. Completing an application does not mean acceptance into the program.

Registration will be ongoing; therefore, application submission does not guarantee acceptance. Please wait for a direct email from Steven with next steps before assuming your child(ren) has been accepted. Once we receive the DOE social distance guidelines and establish our safety protocols for the school year, we will begin contacting accepted parents.

Trail Blazers:

Holistic after school programming that provides ample opportunity for
SEL growth, hands-on learning, engaging enrichment options, play and outdoor exploration.
Accepting students Pre-K- 5th Grade.
Onsite at the PS 130 Lower School and Upper School.

*Impact Coaching Network:

Chess program. From complete beginners to advancing tournament players, Impact Coaching Network’s goal is that all PS 130 players can experience both the joy & significant social/educational benefits of learning and playing chess. Our PS 130 Team will prepare for Local, City, State & National Competitions.

inspire girls to build confidence and other important life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and physical activity.

One World Project:

One of Brooklyn’s best soccer communities offering classes all days of the week
